We’re making love in a hurricane We left our home, we might never come back again It was the perfect house in the wrong town Didn’t know the world was gonna go upside down So we’re making love in a hurricane I washed our clothes in the kitchen sink We were stuck inside, and it took three days to dry And I laughed out loud, cause I made this choice and I still feel proud Washing our clothes in the kitchen sink Now we’re living in paradise, riding the waves Don’t have a clue if we’re doing this right So we’ll take it slow, take it easy Find the flow, feeling breezy Cause now we’re living in paradise We’re planting seeds to begin again Holding our children, waiting for the storm to end Out of the darkness we’ll come stronger now, Imagine the life we can build on this love we’ve found We’re planting seeds to begin again We’re making love in a hurricane

Hola Hola 03:07
Hola Hola Bienvenidos a la Tierra La Tierra nueva The Time has come for us to unite Together we are one Keep on shining, shine your light There’s no stopping what we can become Hola Hola Bienvenidos a la Tierra La Tierra nueva They pushed us down but forgot we were seeds We broke though to lead the way What is this life if we’re not living free So raise you’re voice and sing with me Hola Hola Bienvenidos a la Tierra La Tierra nueva Hola Hola Bienvenidos a la Tierra La Tierra nueva

If you fall down Just lay on the ground Mother Earth will hold you now Keep on lovin’ If you stare at the sky And you wanna cry Cause it’s stormy and you don’t know why Just keep on lovin’ I’m telling you now A little secret I’ve found There’s a golden halo all around us Keep on lovin’

Frequency 04:18
I went looking for something I thought would be hard to find But all I really needed Was to change my state of mind Flying over the ocean Closer to the sun Dreaming of this new Earth I know I’m not the only one We’re gonna plant a seed Let the roots grow deep Share a frequency and live in community We’re gonna grow food And be renewed Share a frequency and live in community I’m calling it in I know we can thrive We can become the dream Cause the tides they are turning We can give, we can receive Bare feet on the ground Standing among the trees The music and the sound Of the children running free We’re gonna plant a seed Let the roots grow deep Share a frequency and live in community Yeah, we’re gonna grow food And be renewed Share a frequency and live in community I’m calling it in
5.
I wanna see what you see But that might be just a little too hard I wanna meet you where you are But that might be just a little too far If we’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around before we hit the ground floor We’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around, oh, this could be something more So what do we do now, if we can’t go back Let me see a sign that we’re on the right track And take it day by day, make my way in truth with love Come and take my hand, let’s see what we’re made of If we’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around before we hit the ground floor We’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around, oh, this could be something more And when I feel afraid I know it’s part of the game So help me to be brave when we’ve lost our way If we’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around before we hit the ground floor We’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around, oh, this could be something more If we’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around before we hit the ground floor We’re going down a road we’ve been before We can turn it around, oh, this could be something more Can you see what I see Just open up your heart

Living Free 03:33
Heading back to somewhere familiar Where nothing is quite the same Still I find beauty around us Looking at life through a different frame Pulled off of the frozen highway We could not escape the storm Relied on a strangers kindness And nothing but love to keep us warm I’m living free and I got nothing but time Wrapped up in love and protection Three little souls along for the ride How do you keep up a strong connection When all you wanna do it hide I’m living free and I’m letting myself cry She smiled even when she was sleeping Reminded us of the joy and light But if we stick together it’ll be alright It’s gonna be alright, It’ll be alright I’m living free and I’m loving you anyway
7.
Sparks 02:45
I thought we were friends We were just strangers with a common thread How quickly something special can end I’m ripped wide open but I’m on the mend Love is winning but the darkness is there Inside me spinning I’m gonna listen to my own prayer And come back home Come back home Come back, come back Come back home to me I move on through the dark days Little sparks of gratitude lighting my way I turn to catch the sun passing by See my reflection in my lovers eyes Beyond this ending she’ll come around again Her warmth and blessing A reminder from an old friend To come back home Come back home Come back, come back Come back home to me

I let it go on the last full moon Didn’t think I would make it to June Here I cry for release Not for you Funny how we hold on to the pain Even when there’s nothing to gain But here I stand fully me Let it rain Oh my grieving heart Oh I’ve got a beating heart Forging down a brand new path Safe for now but nothing really lasts Here’s I am alive again Things are moving so fast Oh my grieving heart Oh I’ve got a beating heart I’m free now Standing in the eye of the storm Just breath and watch me transform It’ll settle down, it’s gonna settle down Just do no harm Oh my grieving heart Oh I’ve got a beating heart Oh my grieving heart Oh I’ve got a beating heart

Leave a trail of love behind you Let the light ahead guide you The journey will unfold and find you No matter where you are Hold the hands of the ones who love you Live your truth your actions define you Find your way the stars above you And leave a trail of love behind you Through the heartbreak and bad weather Feel it now nothing’s forever You can always come back home If you keep an open heart Hold the hands of the ones who love you Live your truth your actions define you Find your way the stars above you And leave a trail of love behind you Through the heartbreak and bad weather Feel it now nothing’s forever You can always come back home If you keep an open heart Leave a trail of love behind you Let the light ahead guide you The journey will unfold and find you No matter where you are And leave a trail of love behind you

about

There's magic that occurs when two soulmates meet here on Earth, and the expression of their love and their purpose happen to magically collide in every way. In life. In harmony. In love.

We've been living a life of adventure, raising 3 little souls (Avery, Jasper, & Eliza, we love you so much!), opening our hearts and minds to the fullest life experience.

Our gift is making music along the way. It’s been a 10 year journey together thus far, and lifetimes worth of songs, stages, & stories.

We were inspired to begin creating this album after taking the leap to live in Mexico, where we rediscovered ourselves. We were called back home to Canada to free-birth our beautiful daughter by a lake in the woods. We moved into a 32" camper and reconnected with the land.

Spirit called us West to Salt Spring Island, where we completed the album, thanks to a magical series of serendipitous events.

This is music straight from our hearts, authentic and full-bodied. Empowered music for the weary, for the strong, for the lovers,
for families, and for the ones forging a new path. Music to shine light through the darkness. Music for everyone.

Thank you for listening, for being here with us, & for receiving the love.

Bienvenidos a la Tierra Nueva!

about

Winsome Kind

There’s no mistaking the chemistry when you hear Canada’s husband and wife duo, Winsome Kind. The story of their love is almost as beautiful as their music, which highlights luxurious harmonies and heartfelt lyrics.

Scott Perrie and Leora Joy met in 2012 performing in a production of The Buddy Holly Story in Saskatchewan, Canada. They fell in love and haven't looked back!
